Keynote speaker: Prof. Dr. Alena Buyx
We are proud to announce Prof. Dr. Alena Buyx as a keynote speaker for BaselOne 2025. In her talk, she will provide us with valuable insights into the ethical challenges of using Artificial Intelligence.
Alena Buyx is a member of various national, international, and academic committees, regularly advises large international research consortia, and is a sought-after speaker and expert for media appearances. From 2016 to 2024, she was a member of the German Ethics Council, serving as its chair from 2020 to 2024. She was also a member (2019–2021) of the WHO Expert Advisory Committee on Developing Global Standards for Governance and Oversight of Human Genome Editing.
